Awareness, education, prevention and role modeling.
Key Components
Culture, talking circles and school presentations.
Use of traditions or ceremonies
They use the traditional ceremonies such as prayer, smudge and the sweat lodge.
Role of Elders
The Elders teach the cultural beliefs and traditional ceremonies.
Role of youth
The youth help to set up and participate in the workshops, youth camps and traditional ceremonies.
Evaluation Design
Client-based questionnaires.
Evaluation Results
These questionnaires are used by the staff to get a better idea of what they can do to improve their programming and to create new programs.
